Sydney based artist Pete Sotiropoulos delves into bedroom recording after hiatus with previous band Betty & Oswald. With help from producer Dean Tuza (Stella Donnelly, A. Swayze & The Ghosts) Pete emerges with debut single ‘Crush’ for his new project ANGELES.

With instruments lying ‘round, borrowed from friends and bought cheaply from thrift stores, Pete began to explore the world of home recording. He became obsessed with DIY, Elliot Smith, David Lynch and home demos. He’d spend hours in his detached Newtown bedroom, lit up in all hours of the dark night, and surface in the morning with demos and sounds that he’d share with his close circle of friends. “I feel like most of the time I was just making music for my friends, I was obsessed with creating these worlds that I wanted to share or sketch a feeling and follow it with sound”.
